A private personal knowledge graph that catalogs one household's media library — books, music, film, comics, and nature observations.
Rikudō is a self-hosted, non-commercial tool that enriches a personal media collection with descriptive metadata. It looks up titles, artists, authors, and species the household already owns or has observed, and links them into a single browsable graph for cataloging and personal research.
It is used by one person, runs on a home server, and is never exposed as a public service or used commercially.
Rikudō makes modest, rate-limited, read-only requests to public metadata APIs. Responses are cached locally and fetched once, so repeat lookups do not re-query the source. All usage stays within free-tier limits and published terms of service.
